- I am Mr. Melaku Tadege, a Data Manager at Amhara Public Health Institute, a dedicated professional with over 10 years of experience in data collection, management, analysis, manuscript and grant writing, and education. My expertise includes big data science and machine learning, with more than 10 published articles in reputable journals. I have presented research at 7 national and international conferences and developed over six policy brief documents. Additionally, I offer statistical consulting services.
- I previously held positions as Head of the Statistics Department at Injibara University, Entrepreneurship Coordinator at Mettu University, and Coordinator of the Data Management Center for Health at Amhara Public Health Institute. Throughout my career, I have gained skills in advanced data analysis, project management, and problem-solving.
- I am proficient in various software tools, including ODK, R, SAS, Power BI, Python, STATA, ArcGIS, QGIS, and SPSS, which I use to extract insights and inform decisions. I also have experience in website development and planning, monitoring, and evaluation, in disaster management, statistical software, and data science supported by multiple certificates in these areas. I developed a machine learning model to predict cardiac patients' outcomes. My teaching experience has strengthened my communication skills, enabling me to explain complex concepts clearly.
